Havers Community Church is a local church on the Havers Estate, in Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshre, under the leadership of David & Yinka Akande.
This couple began their walk with God at Kensington Temple, London, under the pastoral leadership of the late Rev Wynne Lewis and, later moved on to a Church in South Woodham Ferrers, Essex, where David became the Church Pastor in 1991.
Upon establishing a relationship with The Redeemed Christian Church of God, David was ordained in this world-wide Church organisation and went on to establish this organisation’s European Central Office in the United Kingdom.
Havers Community Church has a clear mission to introduce Jesus to people as well as to reaffirm Kingdom priorities in the lives of Christians, helping them to develop in their daily personal relationship with God.
As a Church we aim to welcome those of any belief or none.
Havers Community Church is a member of Churches Together in Bishops Stortford.
